What the phrase means here

People interpret “Be Gay, Do Crime” in all kinds of ways. Some read it as cheeky mischief, and that’s fine. But the deeper meaning—my meaning—is simpler:

In many places, being gay is still treated like a crime.
Existing becomes resistance.
Joy becomes protest.
Pride becomes power.

This sticker is for anyone who carries that truth with them and wants to name it out loud (or at least out on their water bottle).
